Abrasive Wheels
All employees who during the course of their working day have to mount an abrasive wheel as part of their employment.
Safety Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 S.I. No. 36 of 2016 requires that all mounting of abrasive wheels must be done by a competent person. This syllabus is designed to meet the training requirements of these regulations and to certify that the operative has completed a course on mounting of abrasive wheels.

Once the Abrasive Wheels Mounting Course is passed the certificate issued by Naughton Safety Services it is valid for Three years.
